[ltp] T30 speedscaling with 2.4.22?

Is it possible to change the CPU frequency using APM and the 2.4.22 
kernel? I've had numerous problems with 2.6 and also with the ACPI 
interface, so I'd rather stick with my current configuration.

I have a T30 running RedHat 7.3, with an upgraded kernel 2.4.22
