Indeed.
Right now, I've turned off acpi, cpufreq and anything related to
system/cpu states that could confuse ath drivers, result: did not help
at all.
The ath0 interface works fine as long as I don't traffic too much, if I
do:
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=105 ttl=52 time=27.4 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=106 ttl=52 time=9060.3 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=107 ttl=52 time=8060.5 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=108 ttl=52 time=7060.4 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=109 ttl=52 time=6059.7 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=110 ttl=52 time=5060.1 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=111 ttl=52 time=4059.4 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=112 ttl=52 time=3059.3 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=113 ttl=52 time=2060.1 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=114 ttl=52 time=1053.9 ms
64 bytes from 138.195.130.72: icmp_seq=115 ttl=52 time=54.0 ms
ath0 is not so badly placed in interrupts:
0: 250068 XT-PIC timer
1: 495 XT-PIC i8042
2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
3: 1095 XT-PIC irda0
5: 0 XT-PIC ehci_hcd
8: 4 XT-PIC rtc
9: 1352 XT-PIC uhci_hcd, uhci_hcd, ath0
10: 10491 XT-PIC uhci_hcd, yenta, eth0, radeon@PCI:1:0:0
11: 0 XT-PIC Intel 82801DB-ICH4, Intel 82801DB-ICH4 Modem, yenta
12: 13330 XT-PIC i8042
14: 8233 XT-PIC ide0
15: 196 XT-PIC ide1
=> 4th interrupt position if you consider cascading.
I simply don't get why it won't work (or how it could work somewhere
else).
