In case it helps (if the t40p is similar enough) I have an unpatched
2.6.5 kernel + recent madwifi using ACPI and swsusp. I'm also running
a CVS version of X (until we get things sorted out for post 4.3 in
Debian). I do remove ath_pci when suspending, and both swsusp and
suspend to disk seem to work fine. I tried to post my kernel config
earlier (in response to someone else's request), but the list daemon
wasn't very happy about that.
