[ltp] Screen Dim after suspend

Hi All,

I have an IBM thinkpad 570 with slackware linux 10.0 and kernel 2.4.22

The problem is after resuming for suspend the screen is dim in X. The same
thing happens when switch to a virtual console, when you switch back to X
the screen is dim. Any one ever have a similar problem? I have been combing
the archives But haven't seen anything like this listed.
