Please be patient (all of you, not only Joan :)):
1) Where do I download the patches you and others talk about ? What is=20
the proper way of applying them to the 2.6.9 original kernel (done that=20
before but do not remember the right process).
2) I read opposing comments between APM and ACPI, each saying it's=20
better !!! :( Often ACPI advocates say that APM is becoming legacy and=20
that it does not monitor enough events. You seem to be perfectly happy=20
with it though ... I am puzzled !
