I just bought an X30 off Ebay which (undisclosed) was badly cracked in
the way that you describe.  I'm planning to epoxy in some sort of thin
reinforcement, but haven't done so yet.  I also recall seeing this
problem mentioned elsewhere.  My abused 560 had no such problems.

Anyone have experience to relate on repairing this problem?
