Oh, I've done plenty of that.  Just not to the partition table.  My
laptop gets the SuSE betas.  Less than a year old and it has had seven
clean installs.  And two failed clean installs.  The N-booting system
is a Pogo Linux desktop, so OT.  My Thinkpad is dual booting, WinXP
and SuSE 9.2 (til next beta).
