Looks like your crt doesn't like the 1400x1050 mode.  you may have to
add a modeline for it to the relevant monitor section, or change the
mode list in your screen1 section to contain 1024x768 or 1280x1024, or
whatever other modes you may want on that head.  The modes you specify
there are the ones that you can scroll through with ctrl-alt-+/-.
