I've made the jump from kernel 2.6.8.1 to 2.6.10. When checking /var/log/dm=
esg for the two versions, I notice that the Host Protected Area (HPA) gets =
disabled when I boot 2.6.10 [1], but not disabled with 2.6.8.1 [2].=20
How can I enable the HPA again?
BTW: When running 'make oldconfig' using my 2.6.8.1 config, the Cisco Airo =
35x driver got disabled somehow and I had to specify it to compile as a mod=
ule again. Not a good thing...
Thanks,
T.
