vesa version: (created with xf86config)
btw other sys details for both setups (radeon and vesa):
gentoo/xfce - 2.4.20/4.3.0 and 2.6.2 / 4.3.99 iirc, all work fine (with
regards to display)
suse9/kde - 2.4.22, 4.3.0
for the stuff like horiz/vert sync rates, i just cut and paste the
values that sax2 gave me in suse and they worked fine first time, never
really messed with them so not sure if that is significant.
i also have 1400x1050 on my virtual consoles, just use vga=0x342 at boot
