[ltp] Battery autonomy highscore ?

Hi to the TP community,

I just bought a T40 with a 1.5Ghz P4M.  I thought the battery would last
6 or 7 hours but it only lasts 3 hours even with low light, low
cpu-speed (600 Mhz wh. cpudynd on a 2.6.1 kernel).  I've got a standard
battery, one that does not go out of the frame.

Is this normal ?  

How much autonomy do you achieve with a large battery ? (how much did
you pay for it ? where did you buy it ?)
