[ltp] Bios password on 770X and battery

I have two error codes before booting my 770X: 163 and 173 (time, date 
and configuration lost).

Great, i think, the cmos battery is empty. The system cannot boot because 
i have to reconfigure the bios parameters. But there is a bios password!

Can i delete this? The system is quiet old, so IMO it is to expensive to 
repair it.

The other problem is with charging. I don't know, if the battery is the 
problem or the Thinkpad, but i cannot charge it. What can i do?
