[ltp] Chirping noises when running on high throttle

I know where to download a BIOS update, but I don't have a clue what to do=
=20
with it; it's a Windows .exe and besides I believe it needs a floppy drive=
=20
(my old Dell Inspiron) did to boot of.=20

Is there a way to update the BIOS with a Linux only system? I figured that =
if=20
I got an ISO image of the BIOS than it would be fine, but I don't know how =
to=20
get my hands on one. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.
