[ltp] R40e SuSE 8.2 lost network

It was working here, getting an address by DHCP, and was restarted a time or 
two.

When it got back to University it didn't go on the network...
I thought this was becuase the network socket was disabled, but no, because 
dual-booted with some other operating system that was to hand, it connects 
fine.

So over the phone we have gone through various settings, all seem correct, and 
tried bringing up and down the eth0 interface.

No joy.

Thoughts?
