You can get radeontool from
http://fdd.com/software/radeon/

btw: radeontool is also useful for suspend with acpi.
With the 2.6.1-mm5 kernel I get the moon symbol on with
echo 3 >/proc/acpi/sleep
but the display backlight is still on. calling
radeontool light off before that solves that problem.
