Thanks for that, I never thought to check Fabrice Bellet's page, although I=
=20
had it in my bookmarks.
I successfully backported the airo module from 2.6.7 to my 2.6.5 kernel. I=
=20
couldn't move to 2.6.7 because there seems to be a problem with the local=20
apic code, because if I start the kernel with the nolapic boot parameter in=
=20
order to get a proper shutdown on my T41, the kernel doesn't boot. It hang=
s=20
right after attempting to load. 2.6.5 works fine, but I wanted the new=20
features of the airo module in the post 2.6.7-bk10. I backported it by usi=
ng=20
the Makefile from the old airo_mpi module.
After updating the kernel module, I used WIndows to update the driver and t=
he=20
firmware. I am now on firmware 5.30.17 and the performance in Windows is=20
much better and the new airo module works great with the 5.30.17 firmware, =
so=20
far (holds breath).
