Which model of TP600e?

Which BIOS?

Which memory chips? Source?


IBM's official list of supported 600e models does not include the 
2645-5JU version. Some have found that with the current BIOS and 
specific chips that 2645-5JU and other non official units will support 
the 588MB RAM upgrade.

Before wasting time and money on an upgrade which may not work 
I would like to get evidence from those who have done it on the 
SPECIFIC model, 2645-5JU, and which chips and sources have 
worked.
