There is an article in the SUSE knowledge base about this:

But since you are sure that nothing has been changed on your setup (and I=20
assume grub was booting fine until now), it may just be enough to reinstall=
=20
grub from within the rescue system:

  mount /dev/hda4 /mnt
  chroot /mnt
  grub < /etc/grub.conf
