how do you mean - centrino ? the wireless card is supported by ipw2100 
(http://ipw2100.sf.net) , and centrino speedstep works fine (with cpudyn) 
after loading the modules speedstep_centrino, cpufreq_userspace and 
cpufreq_powersave
