Drivers including the aforementioned patch and compiled on Fedora Core 2 are on my page at http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~vbraun/computing/T41/power.html I did not notice any difference in fan noise, maybe thats because I'm used to having a couple of desktops around me :-) Cheers, Volker
