[ltp] Battery Life + Performance

Dear Thinkpad users (and lovers),

I'm using my t41 not as a mobile user. I put it on a table as a common
Desktop PC.

What i'm concern is the battery life and performance. What should I do if
I don't use the battery for a long time? should I remove the battery or I
can just plug the electricity all the time?
