Here is more on the problems with the Adaptec Duo-Connect (AUA-1411)
card and is output for this card when I ran dmesg:

Maybe this will help so that I can get this device running as I really
would like to use USB2 vice USB 1.1 with my external hard drive and
several USB 'thumb' drives.
