Just installed xmbmon
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/admin/mbmon
on my desktop system and it works like a charm :)
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of whether it'll work on a
thinkpad, a T21 to be exact?
I'm running 2.4.26 with APM, a Debian based distro called Libranet
(2.8.1)- that I heartily recommend by the way!
I'm just a little nervous 'cos I remember reading how lm-sensors hosed a
few people's laptops- however this doesn't need any recompiling of
anything into the kernel etc. (it advertises itself as "Hardware
monitoring without kernel dependencies") so it should be safe- right?
My desktop system is running the same distro/same kernel (it's an Athlon
XP 2000+ tho') & I could never get lm-sensors to work at all. Just
grabbed this with synaptic & it just works :) So I'd love to throw onto
the TP, just don't want to screw anything up!
