Bruce, Thanks foe the come back. I have not been looking at the list =
long. I am new to this. I have a 400 meg 600E. I got lindows 4.5, there =
newest. I don't know what kernal it is based on.
Is there not an "install" that is common to all linux?
I have been to IBM but not found the linux drivers. But even with them, =
I still do not know how to install them. I don't have ANY docs.
Lindows loaded like a breze. About 15 min. It found and started fine but =
for the modem and sound.
So to be specific, I need the frivers and to know how to install things.
Sorry to be a pain, Ron

Ron,
Do you have a more specific question.
TP 600E has been covered on the list many times in the past. =20
Which Distro are you using?
Have you been to IBM web site to pickup the Linux driver files?
I have installed in the past Red Hat 8.0, SuSE 8.2, SuSE 9.0 and more =
recently SuSE 9.1. I'm sure others have installed other Distro's just =
fine on the TP 600E.
So, maybe with more specific questions, I or others can help.
I'm currently running Novell's SuSE 9.1 Professional on a TP 600 E.
Regards,
Bruce
