In a word, no. I would enjoy being proven wrong, but I've never been 
able to get 4.x working with an 760XL. In fact some of the later 3.x 
versions, such as the ones included from Redhat 8 on IIRC, don't work 
either. Not sure what the exact chip level issue is, but after many 
hours of experimenting, tinkering and googling, I finally gave up.
