I've seen that happen before, i think in my case it was the kernel
trying to load something... and if i remember correctly, if you leave
it like that for 30 min or so, it will get unstuck and continue.
I think the problem was with 2.4 kernels, but 2.6 worked fine.
Can you try Fedora Core 2 test1?
