I had the same problem, but this is not the fault of the acpi sleep. I
tried the S3 state of the acpi, which of course consumes much more power
than the acpi sleep. But the equivalent sleep mode of the apm sleep is
S5, which isn't supported by the recent kernel i've tested on (2.6.4).
