Hi,
I recently upgraded my Thinkpad 240, 300 mhz. machine by putting in a
new, higher speed (5400rpm) drive and installing Fedora Core 1. Now
the computer seems to run much hotter. Is this because of the drive?
Or is Fedora with newer versions of Gnome and KDE putting more demands
on the processor causing it to heat up more? Should I take the drive
out and put the old one back? Or any other suggestions?
