I have a T41 that came with an Intel 2100B board. I was willing to replace
it witha 2200BG adapter. I have reading several pages scattered through the
WWW, and this are the conclussions... If anybody could confirm it?

1) The miniPCI 3B form factor is the one that is used in T41 and the 2200BG

2) The hardware manual

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/13n5911_01.pdf

states that there are two antennas (for diversity) in the T41, and in

http://www.intel.com/products/mobiletechnology/docs/2200BG_ProdBrief.pdf

I can see that there are two connectors (main and aux), but I am not able
to know if they are the same in the board and in the T41.

3) There are drivers for Intel 2200BG for the T41

4) The big question is this IBM part

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-54903

compatible/comparable with the Intel corresponding one?

http://www.intel.com/products/mobiletechnology/docs/2200BG_ProdBrief.pdf

5) Has anybody done the switch?

6) Once I open the whole think would it be better to substitute it for an
11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter although is a tad most expensive? Is
it supported on Linux (Which chipset does this have?) Or for an equivalent
cisco?

	Best regards
