Dear all,
I finally fixed everything on my T41p with kernel 2.6.6-rc3. The wheel
mouse works after having removed ehcd, and the X problems were solved
by coming back to the standard 4.3.0.1. I even figured out how to make
the lid-closing go into suspend mode. You can see
http://diwww.epfl.ch/~fleuret/installations.html
for details.
The only remaining weirdness is a strange problem when coming back
from the suspend (echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep), if I use the network "a
lot" (for instance opening several tabs at once in mozilla so that a
few web pages are downloaded in parallel).
In such a case, I suddenly lose the usb mouse (which does not seem to
be powered anymore since there is no more glowing red laser light) and
the ethernet connection. It reminds me those dark ages of IRQs
collisions. Any clue ? May it be solved by diving into the depth of
the bios settings ?
Cheers,
