[ltp] Keyboard problems at startup

Hello, 

I have a T40p with Suse 9.0. When I start my thinkpad in the docking station 
I have no problems. But when I start my thinkpad without the docking station 
a have to reboot for 2-5 times before the keyboard works. Have anyone had 
the same problem? Are there any solutions? 

I will appreciate every hint (and solutions)!
