I got it running on R50P. In fact, I have also managed to run it on the
latest BIOS. By recompiling your DSDT, you will also eliminate things
like the lid sensor not working etc....

I use swsusp2, since it is very reliable on resume. The only
unresolvable problem I currently have is the pathetic ATI driver - you
can't resume with fglrx loaded under any power management scheme I know
of...

If you're interested in recompiling your dsdt, let me know, or search
for dsdt/pmtools/iasl on google.
