Actually i was using APM and thats where my poor battery life problem was
comming from...
recently my dsl died so i was left with no internet, so i rebuilt my kernel
and was messing around with ACPI, well i built the acpi cpufreq module and
suddenly my battery life jumped!!! apparently the problem was with APM or
earlier ACPI the processor was aslways in C1 instead of C2 or C3 power
states, returning to C3 power state gave me a HUGE jump in battery
life...now the only problem is my wifi doesnt work when processor is in C3
state... :(
