My Targus one died on me after less than a year.  Now I use one by
Kensington, the Universal Car/Air Power Adapter model 33051.  It's half
the size/weight of the Targus and comes with every power connector you'd
need.  It uses replaceable mini auto fuses to protect it from surges.
