[ltp] Where to start tpb

Just a newbie question...  I have Suse 9.2 with KDE on my TP R40 since 2  
days:

Where should i start a program like tpb (ThinkPad Buttons). Should I  
configure it with a script in the /etc/init.d and run it at runlevel 5?  
Doesn't seem to work here. :-(
( Just coming from Windows.. There is nothing like an Autostart here, eh? )
Maybe someone can post me his/her script or tell me where he/she starts it.
Also I would be very interested to see a few neat tpbrc - files.
