Before that atheros mini pci card, I had a prism54 based Netgear WG511
cardbus card (pcmcia). I had very bad transfer rates with that card. Mostly
above 2500kb/s but sometimes down to 80kb/s, measured with netio. With that
atheros card I get rock solid, high rates. Also WPA installation works
instantanously with the madwifi drivers (didn't tried that with prism54).

Maybe I should give another prism54 card a try. But it is hard to get a mini
pci card with a specific chip here in germany. The few cards that are
offered are without that detail.
