my T30 is now 17 months old and has been on almost continuously:

% cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/{info,state}
present: yes
design capacity: 47520 mWh
last full capacity: 35930 mWh
battery technology: rechargeable
design voltage: 10800 mV
design capacity warning: 1796 mWh
design capacity low: 200 mWh
capacity granularity 1: 1 mWh
capacity granularity 2: 1 mWh
model number: 49 42 4D 2D 30 32 4B 37 30 37 32 00 00 00 00 00
serial number: 20 20 32 30 37 00
battery type: 4C 49 4F 4E 00
OEM info: 53 41 4E 59 4F 00 30 32 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
present: yes
capacity state: ok
charging state: charged
present rate: 0 mW
remaining capacity: 35260 mWh
present voltage: 12506 mV

That's about 75% remaining capacity.
I think there were about 100 charge cycles, can't check under Linux.

The T30 is also quite well-designed w.r.t. battery location,
it is in the coolest corner far away from the CPU
at about ambient temperature.
