I've been using various versions of Red Hat since 4.2 and I've run
into many, many problems with the kudzu utility. I don't recall ever
wanting to use it for hardware detection and configuration. I've
configured a stupid number of hard-to-work devices under Linux, and
never needed kudzu to do it for me.
But thats 10 years of Linux use for ya ;).
