[ltp] t40p Suspend to Memory Suse Linux 9.2

Hi,

So, I got a bit further.  I added acpi_sleep=s3_bios.  When I try to 
come out of suspend to ram, my harddisk is spinning, and I get the 
errors listed below.  After a while (a couple minutes), the hardisk 
stops spinning, and I can log in.  However, the root filesystem seem to 
be mounted read-only!  I can't start any programs that create temporary 
files (I was surprised that anything worked at all!).  When I do a 
normal restart, everything is gone from /var/log.  When I do a hard 
shutdown, I see the following in my /var/log/messages upon reboot.  I 
don't really want to muck around with this too much, as I'm afraid I may 
trash my harddisk.  Has anybody seen this before?
