Rules vary widely, sometimes irrationally.  In order to interfere with 
navigation, the device has to generate a signal that the nav gear is 
sensitive to.  However, a GPS receiver is just a receiver, which doesn't 
generate any intentional signals and incidental signals must be at a low 
level, as per regulations.  However, I wouldn't be supprised if some 
people think it will cause problems, simply because it uses the GPS signal.
