Thats sound interesting. What exactly do you mean when you say you had the same problem?
Do you use Software-Suspend or the Standard Suspend? Which Hardware do you use?
Is hda2 a primary partition or a logic partition? What is your boot sequence (I tried these days to boot directly from floppy with grub but it fails too)?
Could you send me your config file?
Sorry about the lot of questions but I'm really frustrated because all attempts I made fails. This combined with the rare documentation and no log information makes me crazy.
