perhaps. Unforunately, I don't have the hardware to test. your best
bet if xorg 6.8.0/cvs doesn't work is to open a bug on
http://bugs.freedesktop.org . lots of people seem to be having
problems with dvi and thinkpads. Ati has several developers that
regularly work on the radeon drivers. ati's last code drop I think
had proper lvds/tmds support, but didn't apply cleanly to cvs. It'll
probably get added eventually. I'm not sure how much time i'll have
to look into it.
