[ltp] Speedstep-centrino patch for debian?

Sorry for my ignorance.  I just took fedora off my t40p and now I have
debian on but I cannot find anywhere to get the speedstep module.  It is =
not
listed in lsmod and I cannot modprobe it.  Is there a specific page =
where I
can download the patch for my kernel version?  Couldn't find anything in =
apt
either.  I googled for a bit but ended up with no success.  Any help is
appreciated.
