Hmm, I'm blind and the only playing with my bios I've ever done was to get
my T23 to boot from cdrom. So I wouldn't intentionally have written
to the HPA; I'm assuming one would have had to intentionally disable it?
(A blind person can't read the bios because screen readers don't start
till the OS does). I let one sighted person into my bios once but that was
also for getting the cd to boot--which he did incorrectly which was why I
had to get instructions and do it myself.
