The monitor option in BIOS is currently set to Thinkpad LCD. The effect was
the same when I set it to VGA+LCD.
I tried DVI and DVI+LCD as well in combination with "tmds, lvds" and "lvds,
tmds" in xorg.conf. With those settings I was getting cloned pictures on two
external connectors (DVI and VGA) and a blank screen on the laptop.
