(WW) RADEON(0): Direct rendering not yet supported on Radeon 9500 and
newer cards

the firegl T2 is r300 based.  there is no working opensource DRI
driver at the moment.  For now if you want hw 3D, you'll need to use
ati's binary driver.
The start of a 3d driver for r300 hardware is available here:
http://r300.sf.net
however, it's not working yet.
