Try booting XP into Safe Mode, then going to the System control panel, 
"Advanced" tab, "Startup and Recovery" section, [Settings] button, [Edit] 
button.  Maybe something there will jump out at you.

Also, if that doesn't allow you into XP, and it offers a choice of Windows 
variants to boot, try them all.
