Well, the original poster didn't say whether it was a *T*23 or the far
classier *X*23 ... :)

The best way to find support for a particular model is to go to:

http://www.ibm.com/support/us/

... and enter the machine type in the box.  For example, for a Thinkpad
X22 like mine, you'd enter "2662-9BU" and you'd get a bunch of links to
stuff about the Thinkpad X22.
