[ltp] (Ultrabay) DVD burning?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of ordering one of the DVD burning drives that fit in the 
docks's ultrabay 2000. [Description available here: ]

Has anyone managed to burn a DVD-* with one of those? Or should I go with 
one of the external drives that are known to work under Linux?
