[ltp] Fan problem

There is any tool in windows for monitoring the temperature sensors
(maybe provided by the IBM tools) ? I would like to know the stable
temperatures of components: CPU, Mini PCI Module, GPU, HDD when the
fan is off.

As far as I now, the fan (at least on my R51) is controlled by BIOS.
Monitoring the temperatures of components under Linux (ibm-acpi) I was
not able to find a correlation between components temperatures and fan
ON/OFF. There is any other parameter taking into account by the BIOS
for starting the fan?

Thanks,
Ovi
